SUMMARY DESCRIPTION: The main role of Office Coordinator is to meet the expectations and wants of internal and external patrons and bring quality front end service to clients, candidates and peers. This position is expected to greet the public and handle multiple duties at one time and complete them accurately and timely. This position is expected to have working knowledge of agency programs to provide accurate information to the public.

Care Coordination Specialist, Pacific County

SUMMARY DESCRIPTION: This position provides comprehensive care coordination for individuals experiencing homelessness or housing instability. The Care Coordinator works with participants to develop individualized support plans to achieve housing stability and move toward self-sufficiency. The Care Coordinator interacts with diverse community supports, including behavioral health, substance abuse treatment, physical health, criminal justice, benefits management and employment.

This is a full-time, hourly position. The position is based in Pacific County WA, but may occasionally require travel to and work in our Grays Harbor and Pacific County offices. The primary office location will be in Longbeach, WA.

Youth Shelter Advocate, On Call

SUMMARY DESCRIPTION: The Youth Advocate directly supports youth voluntarily staying at a HOPE youth shelter in Aberdeen, WA. The shelter provides temporary residence, assessment, referrals, and permanency planning services for unsheltered youth under the age of 18.This position will play a critical role in assuring the shelter’s efficient operation, working to sustain a safe environment and healthy culture needed to support successful stays and exits.

Staff Accountant

SUMMARY DESCRIPTION: This position accurately performs a variety of complex financial analysis of accounting and fiscal data, and is generally responsible for the constant accuracy and completeness of accounts payable, accounts receivable, purchase orders, bank reconciliation and in kind. This position performs general and specialized duties in a wide variety of financial areas including accounting, contracts and grants.

FCS SE Office Support

SUMMARY DESCRIPTION: This program provided community-based case management and “support services” for individuals experiencing employment barriers due to factors including substance abuse, mental illness and/or chronic physical illness. This position provides program support such as but not limited to: seeing walk-in’s daily; completing initial referrals and reauthorizations; completing initial intakes; completing vocational assessments; verifying eligibility through ProviderOne system; providing general Q & A to other FCS Support Employment Specialists; assisting with billing process. This is a full-time position located in Aberdeen, Washington.

SUMMARY DESCRIPTION: This position is responsible for all aspects of working with people with developmental disabilities in a supported employment program and/or Community Inclusion. This position is responsible for coaching participants at their work/volunteer site, and assisting them in addressing barriers to employment. This position is also responsible for developing potential job opportunities within the community in for-profit agencies and businesses and for providing technical assistance to employers in addressing barriers to employment. Community Inclusion services focuses on working with people with developmental disabilities on activities that are typically experienced by the general public while ensuring health and safety, promoting positive image and relationships in the community. Staff will be expected to be working with a client or on behalf of a client 80% of the day.

SUMMARY DESCRIPTION: This position provides intervention and support to persons impacted by substance use, who seek medical assistance at the Summit Pacific Medical Center’s Emergency Department. Teamwork, collaboration and good communication are essential for success in this position. SUD Peer Specialists work as part of the ED team, including physicians, nurses, medical specialists, and other social services specialists employed by SPMC. SUD Peers also works within a team of Peer Specialists employed by Coastal Community Action Program. Finally, SUD Peers work within a network of community partners and Recovery Community Organizations that must be effectively engaged to provide timely and meaningful support to substance-impacted persons.
