Project Help is a private fuel fund program through the Grays Harbor PUD that provides assistance to income-eligible households in danger of being shut off or who are shut off. The program can also assist with a deposit to have power turned on. The maximum amount a household can receive is $300 – one time a year.
Special Circumstances must apply and Project HELP does not run at the same time as Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP). Electricity must be the main source of heat in the home. Assistance is determined on a case-by-case basis and limited to once in a 12-month period.
