Retired Seniors Volunteer Program
The Grays Harbor and Pacific County Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) has the dual purpose of engaging persons 55 and older in volunteer service to meet critical community needs and providing a high quality experience that will enrich the lives of the volunteers and those they serve.
RSVP is America’s largest volunteer network for people age 55 and over. Join RSVP and you join nearly 500,000 volunteers across the country who are tackling tough issues in their communities.
In addition to helping Grays Harbor and Pacific county agencies, you receive free supplemental accident and volunteer liability insurance while volunteering through our program.
RSVP offers you a whole new world of volunteer opportunities. Worksite examples include mentoring and tutoring children and adults, Meals on Wheels, museum docents and guides, food banks and clothing banks and senior centers, to name a few.
If you are interested in becoming a member of RSVP, please call for more information.

Giving Back Helps You Too
When you volunteer, you’re just not helping others – you’re helping yourself. Volunteering leads to new discoveries and new friends. Plus, studies show that volunteering helps you live longer and promote a positive outlook on life.
In addition, with RSVP you’ll receive pre-service orientation, training from the organization where you serve, and supplemental insurance while on duty.
