Coastal Community Action Program has been a provider of In-Home Care Services throughout Grays Harbor and Pacific counties for more than 25 years with services recently expanding to Thurston County. Our experienced care givers have a strong employment history in caring for the disabled and seniors, are comprehensively background screened and reference-checked.

In-home caregivers offer non-medical services to seniors, disabled, those recovering from surgery and others in need of assistance in the safety of their own home, encouraging independence, preserving dignity and protecting the privacy of those being assisted.

Our services include comprehensive, around-the-clock companion care for anyone – of any age – who needs it. Providing home support by helping with laundry, light housekeeping and meal planning and cooking, or respite and relief for family caregivers, our caregivers are willing to give more of themselves to their work. Coastal Community Action Program care professionals can also provide outside support, like helping with shopping and errands, adult and senior transportation to and from doctor appointments and social events in addition providing travel companionship as well.

Oversight and management of our specially trained and experienced care providers assures your safety, satisfaction and continuity of service. Our care givers receive continual training, learning updated techniques as they evolve throughout the year due to emerging technology offering new solutions

At Coastal Community Action Program, we believe in giving peace of mind to our clients by offering the highest quality caregivers available. Each employee we provide must maintain the core values that CCAP upholds. These values include compassion, integrity, family, excellence, trustworthiness, accountability, and diversity.

When all of these daily tasks are being done by a professional non-medical caregiver it allows family members, such as grown children or spouses, to spend quality time with the senior. You are no longer burdened by loss of quality time by spending hours doing the grocery shopping, cleaning or other mundane maintenance tasks, allowing you to enjoy true companionship with your elderly loved one.

In-Home Care Services can also keep a senior in his/her own home longer, since it actually makes them more independent in their own natural surroundings. It can prevent the senior from having to move to senior housing earlier than necessary, since their daily needs are being met.

Many seniors may need care, but they still enjoy the freedom of picking their own activities and doing them in their own homes on their own schedules. In fact, many seniors prefer to live at home versus moving to a senior facility.

Even in situations where medical/home health professionals are being employed, the family can supplement the care giving with non-medical caregivers who can truly become the senior’s companion.

In-Home Care Services also benefits family members who live a great distance from the senior. Regardless of the distance apart, you can have peace of mind knowing that your senior relative is being cared for with proper meals and someone to talk to on a regular basis, even if you can’t be there to do it.
